This past year we’ve endured a time of immense adversity, grief, economic hardship and the emotional and psychological toll of isolation. It has been especially hard for people who endured a year of lockdown in nursing homes and other long-term care facilities which account for over one third of Covid deaths. It has also been a year of great resilience where we’ve found creative ways to remain connected. The Collection Vol. 2 looks at all of this and attempts to offer, if not always satisfying answers, reflections and contemplations. It gives voice to our anxieties, yearnings, grievings and grievances, our lost hopes and dreams, and the new ones that have sprouted in their place.
