Poem About My Mother
Avani R Patel

Mother is a daughter, becomes a friend,
becomes a woman, becomes a wife, becomes
a mother, she is a
Grandmother.
She gives a courage to her family, friends,
children, and grandchildren.
She is powerful like a wind.
She crated me and given me strength.
She never gave up on me.
She will always be my mother who is my pillar.
I am her identity.
I am her creation.
Her scars are my scars.
Mother is just not a person.

The Poem About Nothing
Nathan Rubinstein

Blue is Blue
Green is Green
There is no end to the road
And there is no end to see
Trump is Trump
Mexicans are not mean
Arabs are not bad
But that’s something Trump can’t see
Love is life
Life is love
Its confusing
But that’s the way its supposed to be
You can’t explain some abstract things
But sometimes that’s ok
Because that’s how its supposed to be
Nothing is nothing
And that’s what the poem is all about
You may think it is weird and crazy but thats not what I am worrying about
